Buddy HannahWeekends 349.1660 Join Buddy for Talk It Up Live every Saturday from 4:00 to 6:00pm Buddy Hannah is a well known poet who lives in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He is the author of three one-act plays, five books of poetry and has worked as the historical researcher for Kentucky at Sunrise, a play written by Dr. Von Washington, Sr. As an actor, Buddy has appeared in theater productions at Western Michigan University, the Black Civic Theater and in Black Arts and Cultural Center productions. Buddy is the co-founder of "Black Writer in Production" at the Black Arts and Cultural Center. He has been a visiting poet at Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo College, Kalamazoo Valley Community College, the Kalamazoo Public Schools, Kent County Public Schools and Calhoun County Public Schools. He has been awarded the Irving S. Gilmore Community Medal of Arts Award, the Black Arts and Cultural Center Outstanding Volunteer Award, the Y.M.C.A.
